About Psyc Club
The Psychology club is a great way to meet other Psychology majors and Psychology professors, talk about which classes you liked or disliked, learn about research opportunities, learn about grad schools, etc. We generally have food at every meeting and we try to make meetings fun. We meet every other Wednesday at 6:00 in Williams 120. Flyers will be posted and emails are sent out to the Psychology listserv to inform people of the day, time, location and topic of each meeting. The Psychology Club also meets together with Psi Chi and our memberships overlap. You do not need to be a member of Psi Chi to be a member of the Psychology Club, membership in Psi Chi has specific requirements, which can be found at About Psi Chi, One may come to our meetings, but in order to be considered an official member of the club one must pay dues. Dues can be brought to any of our meetings or dropped off in the Psychology Club mail box in the mail room in Williams hall. Checks are preferred, which should be made out to "Psychology Club of Virginia Tech", Membership dues are $25 a semester or $40 a year.
